Carnage Is Coming
I got back into Amazing Spider-Man with issue 600 (after a long respite from comics)
I stuck with it through the first few issues just ‘cause so much had changed, despite so much having stayed the same. Then ‘cause of “The Gauntlet” as the run-up to “The Grim Hunt” story arc.
But the last few issues, the “One Moment In Time” retcon, have been mostly “meh.” And, honestly, what I’ve seen so far of what’s to come with “Big Time,” things look kind of gimmicky.
So maybe I’ll be spending my money on Carnage come October:

The advance images released by Marvel today are enough to have me digging out my Sega Genesis and “Maximum Carnage” cartridge.
Ha. Sega. Game cartridges.
And who am I kidding? I’ll probably be buying both this and Amazing Spider-Man next month.
